Where to Buy Mizuno GX Sonic Swim Suits?

Mizuno GX Sonic tech Suits are Hard to Find
I love the Mizuno GX Sonic VI line of tech swim suits but they have got to a point where they are almost impossible to buy. I regularly get messages from frustrated swimmers who after spending hour scouring the depths on the internet, just can't find the Mizuno suit they want in their size. The reason for this is that the demand is simply so high, they are being purchased at a rate quicker than they are made.
Stock does become avaliable, normally when a new colorway is relased. Towards the end of last year, Mizuno announced the GX Sonic VI series of suits (the NV, ET and CR) would be released in a new teal design. They also announced pre-orders would start on the 20th of December. The pre-order lasted for a month and the suits shipped at the back end of January. It is now basically impossible to find any of these teal GX Sonic's in the core sizes, Small, Medium or large.
It is almost just as hard to find stock of any previous generations of the Mizuno GX Sonic such as the III, IV or V. Here I am going to discuss the best ways to get hold of a Mizuno Tech Suit in 2025.
Visit japan
This is not a joke. The only surefire way to secure stock is to personally (or have a friend) fly to Japan and purchase a Mizuno suit in a physical store. I have personally purchased a bucket load like this and am assured that in-person stores are where the majority of stock goes in Japan.
Seeing as the suits are manufactured in Japan, they decide where the stock goes so going to the sources is always going to be the easiest route, albeit the most expensive due to flights. That being said I can't recommend visiting Japan enough.
Use buyee
Buyee is a Japanese drop shipping service. This means you can use any Japanese online store and export them to wherever you are in the world. While right now the main retailers do seem to be out of stock, you can still use their flea markets and auction websites to snag a pair. I needed a new pair of Large GX Sonic 6 Noble Velocity's before the Masters national in October and found someone selling a brand new pair, under RRP, on Mercari. I looked daily for about a week to find this suit listed.
If there is a restock of suits, the Japanese retailers accessible on Buyee will be the first to access these suits and if there is a new model or colour released, you can guarantee a pair. If you are reading this at the time of writing and are desperate for a suit, I would check daily on JD Auction, Mercari and Rakuten Rakuma until you find what you are after.

Use your national distributor
If you are lucky enough to live in the US, UK, Canada or Australia, then you have a local retailer who stocks Mizuno swimsuits. Sadly they do come at a much higher cost than using Buyee ($250 vs $400 for a men's jammer) but they could hold stock in the size you need.
At the time of writing the Europe/UK store currently has all sizes of men's jammers.
Use ebay
If you have exhausted all the above options (which right now you probably have), your last bet is to check for sale listings in case someone is selling what you want having bought the wrong size. Websites like eBay often have Japanese resellers exporting suits (but lack of stock remains a prevalent issue) but you will also find people who have maybe imported a suit in the wrong size and are trying to get rid of it because they can't return it to Japan.
Keep looking
Unfortunately at the time of writing, I really can't find any stock for M/L anywhere on the internet, except from the UK store I linked above, I don't know which locations they will ship to but they are your best hope as of now. That being said if you do stay vigilant and keep looking, especially on Buyee and eBay, you probably will manage to find stock sooner rather than later, but act quickly because I can assure you someone else is looking.
Going forward though, keep an eye on Mizuno Japan's Instagram account for new models and colourways as they often run pre-orders which aren't too stressful to secure stock. To clarify I know people pre-ordered successfully purchased suits weeks after it opened (I was a day one pre-order).
